Hey Evan, thanks for the workaround. I just ran into this error when attempting to watch some instant movies on Netflix. Netflix requires Windows 11 and I am running XP. I am go to go now!

thank you so much for the tip. Worked like a charm. I tried all sorts of updates and nothing was working. I thought i had to get a new version of XP.

Hi Ali, are you certain you ran wmfdist11.exe beforehand? WMP11 wont run properly if not.
